Unknown stories of Ca Tam oil field

After the ceremony to receive the first oil stream (First oil) from Ca Tam oil field held in Vung Tau city, many participants confessed to us: The success of the project is our fun and great happiness, but nobody thinks of doing a similar project again!

It can be said that there are few oil and gas projects under tight pressure of such as Ca Tam oil field.

Ca Tam oil field project’s main key milestone:

On 23rd Jan 2018, VSP organized the opening ceremony of fabrication of brackets, piles, docking stations and water separating pipes CTC1-WHP (First cut);

On 23^rd Mar 2018, the opening ceremony of manufacturing the superstructure, load-bearing floor, and water separating pipes;

On 21^st Jan 2018, finishing the offshore installation brackets, piles, docking stations and water separating pipes;

On 18^th Oct 2018, finish the offshore the offshore installation of the superstructure, load-bearing floor, airport and air release valve;

On 25^th Jan 2019, CTC1-WHP oil rig welcomed the first oil stream.
