The Trade Union of Petrovietnam Technical Service Corporation (PTSC) held a Preliminary Conference between the period 2017–2020, phase VII

Implementing the full-term operation plan of the PTSC's Trade Union Executive Committee, on July 17, 2020 in Quy Nhon, PTSC's Trade Union held a Preliminary Conference between the period of 2017-2020, phase VII and disseminating key directions and tasks for the next half period in the 2020-2022 period.

Attending the conference were Mrs. Nghiem Thuy Lan - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Board of the Party Committee of the Group, Chairman of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Union and representatives of the Oil and Gas Trade Union Committees. On the side of PTSC's representatives, there was Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Manh Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director, representative of the Board of Directors, Supervisory Board, comrades in the Board. General Director, Head of Departments / Offices of the Corporation and comrades are Member of the Corporation, Member of Committee, Member of Committee of Trade Union of the Corporation, Board of Directors and Trade Union representatives.

Mr. Vu Duc Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union reported: In the past half term, PTSC’s Trade Union has implemented the main goals, directions and tasks of the 2017-2022 term: “Solidarity, democracy, creativity, promoting collective strength for the Corporation's stable and sustainable development, for the interests of employees ”. Trade unions took the initiative and closely followed their expertise, promoted propaganda and mobilized employees to actively participate effectively in emulation movements such as: good labor movement, creative labor, movements to promote and apply innovations, inventions and technical innovations to successfully complete production and business tasks and offer plans, solutions and tasks in the next 2020 period - 2022 contributes to the overall success, the overall plan of the Unit and the Corporation.

PTSC’s Trade Union implements specific operation plans, realizes, directs and guides the Trade Union units to well implement the plans and tasks set out, organize the labor force movements, care, ensure the full salary and bonus regimes for employees, visit and motivate workers with difficult circumstances and dangerous diseases and organize useful playgrounds for employees after the hours of work.

From the beginning of the term until now, PTSC’s Trade Union has coordinated with the Trade Union of Members to organize many cultural and sport movements for employees such as the Corporation Sports Festival in the North, Central and South, Sports and fairs of the Corporation in Da Nang in 2018, 2019; Organizing emulation activities at key projects such as: LPG Ca Mau project of PVGAS; NPK - NH3 project of PVFCCo; The Sao Vang - Dai Nguyet project of PTSC M&C, the bidding packages at Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Complex ... launched emulation at the projects and regularly visited, encouraged and awarded gifts at the site, creating essential motivation. for workers to speed up the progress, ensure construction safety and work quality ”; The implementation of social security has brought a lot of love homes, public works, schools to poor people nationwide with the total implementation amount of nearly 50 billion VND. In addition to charity activities, drinking water, remember its source, supporting people suffering from floods, natural disasters, and disabled children, the Trade Union of the Corporation also supports workers who are in need, suffering from serious illness, the Corporation's retired officers from the Petroleum Mutual Fund with an annual amount of over 2 billion VND.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors said that the central task of PTSC Trade Union is to encourage employees to promote their creative potential and meet the highest quality of types of services, unite to build the Corporation to develop comprehensively and steadily, step by step reaching the regional and world markets, affirming the prestigious petroleum engineering service unit, industry and leading brands in Southeast Asia.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nghiem Thuy Lan - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the Party Committee of the Group, Chairman of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Union highly appreciated the work results of PTSC Trade Union in Over the past half term and emphasized PTSC is one of the "bright spots" of the Group in terms of profitability in the first 6 months of 2020. The President of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Union asked PTSC Trade Union to promote quality improvement. union staff at all levels, promoting the efficiency of human resources at the unit, organizing / participating in training courses to improve professional skills in professional activities and the Trade Union with the goal of continuing continually renovating contents, modes and improving the quality of the grassroots trade union's operations; Reviewing the PTSC Trade Union cadre plan for the 2017-2022 term and building a new plan for the 2022-2027 term.
