The Party Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa successfully organized the Second Party Congress

On April 04^th 2015, the Party Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa successfully organized the Second Congress, the period 2015-2020 with the presence of Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep - Secretary of Party Committee of PTSC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC and leaders and representatives of the politic unions.

The Congress has successfully discussed the activities in accordance with the regulations of the Party Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa and the regulations proposed by the Congress, acknowledged the great efforts of the Party Committee, Board of Directors, Board of Management appreciated PTSC Joint Stock Company to successfully implement the targets and tasks set out in the period 2010 - 2014 with an annual revenue growth rate of 44% per year. Especially, PTSC Thanh Hoa has experienced rapid and sustainable development in 2014, in particular: the revenue reached VND 504 billion, equal to 6.2 times that of the year 2010; The average monthly income per capital was VND 10.6 million / person - 2.2 times higher than that in 2010; Profits and payments to the state budget in 2014 was much higher than that of 2010 (2010 is the first year of the five-year tenure from 2010 to 2015). In addition, the Party Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa always take consideration in the enrollment of new party members; PTSC Thanh Hoa Party Committee has admitted 27 new members, organizing the official party for 19 preparatory members in the last tenure.

Delegates are focusing on studying and discussing reports at the Congress

With the results achieved in the term of 2010 - 2015 and the evaluation of opportunities in the stage of construction and operation in Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Project (NSRP), the Congress set out the orientation and tasks for the term of 2015-2020 with the objectives: Leaders of PTSC Thanh Hoa  fulfill business plans and other economic indicators assigned by PTSC; achieve fast, strong and sustainable development, strive to achieve a growth rate of 10 to 15% per year; build PTSC Thanh Hoa Party strong and transparent”. The Congress also set out the basic tasks in the production and business activities as following: As for Port Operation and Logistics service: beside managing and operating the existing port, gradually seize the Port Operation services for projects in Nghi Son Economic Zone – Thanh Hoa province, with the first target of managing and operating  berths in NSRP site; As for mechanical maintenance service, PTSC Thanh Hoa should closely access market for maintenance service, especially daily maintenance services for NSRP; As for maritime vessels service, PTSC Thanh Hoa is determined to dominate the maritime vessels service for NSRP in operation phase.

            The congress elected 05 members for the Executive Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa for the term 2015 – 2020 and elected delegation to attend PTSC 6^th Party Congress for the term 2015-2020, including 08 official and 01 alternate members. In the first plenum, the Party Executive Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa elected Mr. Le Van Nga to take the position of Secretary of Party Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa from 2015 to 2020.

Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Board of Directors of PTSC Thanh Hoa praised the achievements of the Party Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa during the last term and emphasized the importance of enhancing social welfare activities such as: sponsoring the works of education, health care, In particular, he suggested the new Executive Committee should concentrate on the development of maritime vessels service, petroleum mechanical and construction, conduct market research in the first stage of the term to promptly invest in infrastructures; PTSC should also establish fleets of maritime service vessels with engineers, workers and mechanical workshops that are qualified to implement maintenance works for NSRP and other offshore works in the 2015-2018 period. In addition, PTSC Thanh Hoa is planning to upgrade the port for accommodating vessels of 70,000 DWT to dominate 100% the market of vessel with deadweight over 50,000 DWT. He also acknowledged and highly appreciated the preparation for the Party Congress and suggested PTSC Thanh Hoa’s Party Executive Committee in the 2015-2020 term to preserve the spirit of solidarity, democracy, dynamic and creativity to lead the company successfully fulfill the tasks assigned by PTSC.
