PTSC Thanh Hoa’s Youth Union visited Hat Liu Primary and Secondary School

On 05^th May 2018, PTSC Thanh Hoa’s Youth Union and representatives of Maritime Vessel Services visited and gave presents to more than 300 poor pupils at primary and secondary schools in Hat Liu Commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province.The total value of donations and support was more than 20 million VND.

Hat Liu Commune is a poor commune in Tram Tau District – Yen Bai Province. The total population is more than 2000 people; most of them are Thai ethnic minority. Due to the location, the commune is far away from the district center (13km); the roads are still not convenient with insufficient facilities, so local people have been facing many difficulties. In particular, due to the flood in 2017, the consequences are so severe that the lives of ethnic minority in Tram Tau district are more and more difficult. These difficulties primarily affect students in villages where the learning facilities are lacking.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Ngoc – Principal sent his sincere thanks to the spirit of charity of PTSC Thanh Hoa. Although the presents are small but they are practical in sharing difficulties and taking care of children in Hat Liu.

In this program, PTSC Thanh Hoa visited and gave presents to Duong Phuong Trinh, Class 3, in Tram Tau Primary and Secondary School. She is ill, and his father passed away, her family is in extremely difficult circumstance. Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoan gave a present with the value of 5 million VND to her for supporting.
