NSRP conducted prequalified inspection on 15th November 2018

In the afternoon of November 6th , Deputy Minister An H. Dang and the delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade had a trip to inspect the progress of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical project.

Deputy Minister An H. Dang held the meeting with NSRP.

Currently, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Complex project is aiming at initial acceptance (IA) on November 15 2018. From October 31st to November 3rd (3 days), the plant ran a test of the entire technical characteristics of the plant (performance test). At present, NSRP is conducting a re-evaluation of all data on the full operational performance of the technical specification that satisfies technical requirements IA.

NSRP General Director Shintaro Ishida committed to achieve IA on 15th November 2018.

NSRP gave final conclusion on the IA procedure on 07th November 2018. This is also the reason why NSRP still keep IA objective on 15th November 2018.

The meeting between Ministry of Industry and Trade on the progress of NSRP

Mr. An. H. Dang highly appreciated the efforts of the parties to ensure the progress of NSRP Project. He also congratulated NSRP in completing a huge workload, especially technical assessment of the entire plant on November 3rd, 2018 just within two-month trial run. This is a very important milestone for this big oil refinery project.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade also requested NSRP to continue addressing the shortcomings, implementation of environmental work items fire prevention and fighting; striving for the final certificate of the State Council for Pre-Acceptance test will be issued at the end of June 2018.
