Enhancement of centralized management, closely following PTSC Thanh Hoa's core values to effectively manage mechanical projects

On the afternoon of 10^th Jun, 2025, at PTSC Thanh Hoa’s Head Office, Manufacturing Engineering Department held the Workshop to summarize lessons learned from implementing mechanical projects in the period 2020 - 2024. The Workshop was attended by the Board of Directors, Managers of Departments/Section and a few key personnel who have directly participated in implementing mechanical projects in recent years.

The Workshop was held with the aim of comprehensively reviewing the implementation of mechanical projects over the past 5 years, thereby obtaining valuable lessons on processes, coordination methods, organization of implementation and risk management. This is a vital preparation step in the context of PTSC Thanh Hoa entering a phase of clear transformation, moving towards a centralized, professional management model and requiring a unified mindset throughout the entire team, especially when PTSC Thanh Hoa is recruiting new workforce in many positions.

Overview of the Workshop

At the Workshop, the delegates carefully analyzed many issues that have arisen during the implementation of key projects such as: Long Son Project, Windfarm Power, LPG Thi Vai, Hai Phong 2 and PV Oil New Pump. Each project has brought specific experiences, from preparing technical documents, reviewing contracts, selecting subcontractors, controlling progress and quality, to operating on site and finalizing payments. All participants did not hesitate to express opposing opinions, frankly recognizing strengths and weaknesses to have a multi-dimensional, objective and realistic approach to the causes, solutions and lessons learned from the problems.

The Workshop was discussed actively and lively with many perspectives

Board of Management has closely directed each group of issues raised. Mr. Pham Hung Phuong - Director - emphasized the importance of enhancing individual responsibility in each project, especially from the preparation to the construction. He also stated that the selection of subcontractors should not only be based on professional capacity but also on the same culture and long-term development orientation as the company. At the same time, the early implementation of a centralized and professional management model will be a prerequisite for improving project efficiency as well as the sustainable development of PTSC Thanh Hoa in the new era.

In addition, mechanism and policy issues were also highlighted, especially the urgent demand to attract and advance a high-quality workforce in the mechanical engineering, making contribution to create a solid human resource for long-term growth.

At the Workshop, Mr. Le Van Nga – Chairman of the Board of Directors – directed the departments to adhere to the core values ​​of the enterprise when implementing any work or project. These values ​​include: Quality & Standard, Professionalism & Proactiveness, Strategy & Commitment, Teamwork & Sharing – considered as the guiding principle for all actions and decisions throughout the company.
