Launching ceremony PTSC 10 and handover PTSC 09

Continuing the successful launching of 07 ships among the maritime vessels team including 08 ships (7 tugboats and 01 speed boat), in the morning of 13th Sep 2019 in Vung Tau, PTSC organized the launching ceremony for PTSC 10 vessel.

PTSC 10 vessel has a length of 35 m; width 11.6 m; height 4 m; Bollard pull 20 tons; minimum speed of 12 knots; equipped with 02 main Cummins engine (USA) with a total capacity of 2700 BHP; Nakashima nose propeller system (Japan). PTSC 10 vessel can operate on the restricted waters of level II; The vessel is supervised and newly built by Vietnam Register (VR) and US Register (ABS).

This is the last ship in the maritime service vessels, so the launching, finishing and early operation of PTSC 10 in particular and the maritime service vessels serving Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant in general are very meaningful and marking the efforts and success of PTSC.

PTSC 10 was launched safely and tugged to anchor at the berth.

Also, on the morning of 16th Sep 2019, at Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Plant, PTSC officially handed over and put into operation the new built vessel PTSC 09 for NSRP.

PTSC 09 vessel has a length of 29 m; width of 12 m; height of 5 m; Bollard pull 55 tons; minimum speed of 10 knots; equipped with 02 main Cummins engines (USA) with a total capacity of 5000 BHP; Nakashima nose propeller system (Japan). The vessel can operate on the restricted waters of level II; The vessel is supervised and newly built by Vietnam Register (VR) and US Register (ABS). This is the vessel with the largest capacity in the maritime service vessels and the 5th vessel in the fleet, so the transfer is very meaningful in the use and exploitation of the fleet of PTSC.

Currently, the new built vessels have been handed over from PTSC to NSRP serving passenger transfer, tugging the tankers and VLCC in/out NSRP port successfully and safely.

PTSC 09 was handed over and anchored at NSRP’s berth.

NSRP representatives visited and gave flowers to crew members of PTSC 09.
