Summarizing Conference for the bidding packages completed in construction phase and service supply plan in operation phase of nghi son refinery and petrochemical project

On 4^th August 2017, at the conference center - Central Hotel, Thanh Hoa City, PTSC Thanh Hoa held a successful summarizing conference for the bidding packages completed in construction phase and service supply plan in operation phase of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Project (NSRP).  

Attending the conference, the representatives of PTSC were Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep –Secretary of Party committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan –Vice President, Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC; Mr. Le Manh Cuong –Vice President, together with Managers of member/ affiliated companies of PTSC. The representatives of PTSC Thanh Hoa were Mr. Le Van Nga - Secretary of Party Committee, Director; Mr. To Ngoc Thu - Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Deputy Director; Mr. Pham Hung Phuong – Deputy Director, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Deputy Director/Director of Logistics Projects; Mr. Nguyen Khac Dung - Deputy Director/Director of Mechanical Projects, together with Head of Department/Project leaders.

At the conference, in part of the mechanical projects, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dung - Deputy Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Director of the Mechanical Projects, presented the summarized report of the construction packages, summarized the construction phase, the advantages, difficulties, archived results and lessons learned when joining 07 mechanical packages: Execution of fitting bridge pile B2; Construction of underground Carbon Steel pipeline UGPX; Installation of technology pipes GRE / GRP; Fabrication of SMP9 WS pipe; Installation of pipes at site SMP9- SITE; Painting and covering SMP8 pipes; Providing technical support services for PRE-COM Test Run, and other contracts such as: Pipe painting works for Kurihara (Japan), Fixing and Repairing Hooks for Trellogrg (Australia), and directions for the next phase in the NSRP’s operation phase...

Following, on logistics projects’ part, Mr. Pham Hung Phuong - Deputy Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Director of Logistic projects, presented the summarized report of logistic packages, summarized the construction process when joining and implementing 07 packages: HHI, SK, Temporary Jetty, Onshore forwarding, SSF2 transport, SMP9 pipeline transportation; results achieved and general situation in NSRP project, plans to imply in operation phase, efficiency development of the contracted packages, safety on schedule, in addition, to promoting internal improvement and training, effective application of the project "competitiveness" to improve the quality of services to meet the requirements and strict standards of the investor.

Taking advantage of the support of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group as a shareholder of NSRP project, the support of PTSC and its member companies, enhancing marketing activities, seeking opportunities to participate in the bidding for services supply which are considered the strength of the company

Actively build resources on the basis of promoting the on-site advantage of PTSC Thanh Hoa be ready to provide services as soon as required by NSRP, especially during the overall maintenance phase of the plant.

During the program, Mr. Le Van Nga - Secretary of Party Committee, Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa sent sincere thanks to the Group, the Corporation, member companies, the customers who have accompanied and supported PTSC Thanh Hoa in the past and also presented the general summarized report of the bidding packages, shown some points on the implementing method for the bidding packages which have been, and shall be implied according to the next plan.

The Conference’s attendants also had an exciting discussion on issues related to the implementation of construction, the difficulties and solutions, the solutions to improve competitiveness and efficiency in the construction phase of projects given by the managers of mechanical projects and logistics projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep - Secretary of Party committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC highly appreciated the achievements gained in the process of executing the bidding packages, which showed the efforts of the whole Board of Directors and all staffs of PTSC Thanh Hoa and also expressed his belief in the strong and sustainable development of PTSC Thanh Hoa in the coming time.
