The Opening Ceremony of PTSC’s Sports Festival 2017 of the North - Central Region

Implementing the Joint plan No. 700 / DVDK - LT - CD – TGD dated 6^th June 2017 of the President and the Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC on organizing the PTSC’s Sports Festival 2017 of the North – Central, this morning, at 7h30 at the Training and Sports Competition Center of Thanh Hoa province No. 89, Le Hoan Street, Dien Bien Ward, Thanh Hoa City, took place the Opening Ceremony of PTSC’s Sports festival 2017 of the North - Central region, hosted by PTSC Thanh Hoa .

Attending the ceremony, as the guests and managers of PTSC, there was the presence of Mr. Tran Ngoc Dung - Regular Vice Chairman of PetroVietnam Labor Union; Mr. Nguyen Van Tien – Standing Committee member, Chief of Propaganda Department, PetroVietnam Women Union; Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep - Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan –Vice President, Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC; Mr. Vu Duc Cuong - Member of the Executive Board of PetroVietnam Labor Union, Vice Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Tan Vinh - Secretary of Youth Union of PTSC. As for the managers of the companies, were the presence of Mr. Le Van Nga - Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa; Mr. Dang Tien Dung - Director of PTSC Da Nang; Mr. Hoang Tuan - Director of PTSC Quang Binh; Mr. Nguyen Hai Bang - Director of PTSC Dinh Vu; Mr. Pham Van Hung - Director of PTSC Quang Ngai; Mr. Khanh Vinh - Director of PV Security; Mr. Bui Van Dai - Deputy Director of PTSC Hanoi; along with the presence of the members in the Executive Board of Labor Union, the Veterans Association, the Youth Union of PTSC together with leaders of the departments.

PTSC’s Sports festival took place from August 3^rd 2017 to August 5^th 2017, with the participation of 164 outstanding athletes coming from 07 units, competing in 05 subjects: football, table tennis, badminton, tennis and tug of war.

Speaking at the Opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan appreciated the Executive Board of Labor Union for organizing a practical sport program and instructed athletes competing with the spirit of communication, learning and honestly participate in all the matches according with the spirit of solidarity, communication and health training set by the host and wished the great success for the Festival.

On behalf of 164 athletes participating in the Festival, Mr. Lam Quoc Hung from PTSC Da Nang team expressed his feelings and read the oath to play confident, hard and honest in each match for the success of the Festival.

The representative of the arbitration panel spoken the sworn that the arbitral team will conduct the fair, objectively matches and absolutely according to the rules of the award.

Right after the end of Opening ceremony, the game of the tug of war have been started. The final result belonged PTSC Thanh Hoa team, the second prize belonged to PTSC Quang Ngai team. Other qualifying matches kept continue.
