On June 5, at Nghi Son Economic Zone, Mr. Do Trong Hung, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa Province, Deputy to the National Assembly had a working session with the delegation of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group led by Mr. Le Manh Hung, Member of the Executive Committee of the Central Business Sector Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Group's Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group, member of the City Council, General Director of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group as the head of the delegation, to discuss solutions for investment and development cooperation.

Before the meeting, the provincial leaders and the delegation of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group went to survey and inspect at PTSC Port, Product Export Port and Zone C of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical; site of area A, zone N, Coc mountain and the land area expected to build power stations.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Do Trong Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee warmly welcomed the delegation of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group to attend the investment and development cooperation conference; simultaneously affirming that this working session is of great significance in the investment and development cooperation between Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group and Thanh Hoa province.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized: Thanh Hoa province has favorable conditions in terms of population, infrastructure, convenient transportation, abundant natural resources, and favorable investment environment. In the cause of national construction and defense, Thanh Hoa has contributed human and material strength together with the whole country to make great victories of the nation. After 35 years of conducting the renovation work, with great efforts of the Party Committee, government and people in the province, especially receiving the attention of leadership and direction of the Central Government, coordination and assistance with the support of ministries, departments and branches, including the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Thanh Hoa has made remarkable progress.

Thanh Hoa is currently a locality with the 8th largest economy in the country, with a relatively synchronous development of economic infrastructure, culture and society in the direction of modernity.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the current results achieved in the exploration of Nghi Son Economic Zone and the development of Nghi Son petrochemical refinery, are a long preparation process. Since implementation, it has undergone two phases and this time is the 3rd phase of the project - this is the stage to open a new chapter, which is both construction and development of Nghi Son Economic Zone, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical and other ancillary works.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that there has been a relationship of cooperation, investment and development with certain effects between Thanh Hoa and the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group; At the same time, he hopes that at this conference, the two sides will jointly re-evaluate what has been done, what has not been done, with a spirit of determination, all difficulties will be focused on solving. What is under the authority of Thanh Hoa, the party committee and the government will focus on solving it; what is beyond its authority, Thanh Hoa will accompany Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group to report to the Government, ministries, central agencies and branches for settlement.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Manh Hung - General Director of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group congratulated Thanh Hoa province on the achievements achieved over the years.
