NSRP, PTSC Corporation And PTSC Thanh Hoa Delegation Conducted 60% Audit For Stg#3 Replacement Project In Japan

From 05 April to 11 April 2026, the delegation of the STG#3 Replacement Project, comprising representatives from NSRP, PTSC Corporation and PTSC Thanh Hoa, conducted a business trip to Japan for the 60% Project Audit. The audit aimed to review fabrication progress, quality management implementation and overall project execution during a critical stage of the project.

As scheduled, the delegation visited Mitsui E&S (MES) factory in Tamano, Okayama for the Turbine package and TMEIC factory in Nagasaki for the Generator package. Both manufacturers are experienced suppliers in industrial and power generation equipment and play important roles in the overall execution schedule of the project.

At MES factory, the delegation carried out shop inspections on fabrication and assembly activities for major Turbine components, including Rotor, Casing and associated auxiliary systems. The team also reviewed technical documentation, quality control procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and manufacturing schedules. In addition, both parties aligned on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, Hold Points and quality surveillance requirements for the upcoming stages.

For the Generator package at TMEIC factory, the delegation witnessed key manufacturing and assembly processes, including Stator winding, Rotor balancing and control & protection system integration. Material traceability records, quality certificates and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) plans were also reviewed to ensure compliance with project technical specifications and delivery milestones.

In parallel with site inspections, technical interface meetings were conducted with MES and TMEIC representatives to update overall project progress, discuss technical matters and coordinate execution plans for the next phases. Discussions also covered testing schedules, packing arrangements, shipment preparation and delivery coordination to maintain alignment with the overall project timeline.

The 60% Project Audit confirmed that all major activities are being implemented in accordance with the approved schedule and technical requirements. The business trip also demonstrated the close cooperation among NSRP, PTSC Corporation, PTSC Thanh Hoa and Japanese partners in ensuring the successful execution of the STG#3 Replacement Project.
