PTSC Thanh Hoa commends and awards Outstanding Individuals and Teams in the rescue of Nam Phat 08 Vessel’s crew members.

On 26^th Feb, 2025, PTSC Thanh Hoa held a commendation and awards ceremony to honor individuals and teams for their outstanding achievements in rescue of Nam Phat 08 Vessel’s crew members on the Nghi Son area.

On the night 24^th Feb, 2025, PTCS 06 Vessel operated by PTSC Thanh Hoa, successfully carried out the rescue of the Nam Phat 08 cargo vessel, which had a fired cabin due to electrical short circuit. The incident occurred in the area about 12 nautical miles southeast of Me Island, causing two crew members to be badly burned and the Vessel had to anchor on the spot. As soon as the information was received, PTSC 06 Vessel was urgently mobilized, coordinated with the Nghi Son Port Border Guard Station and Thanh Hoa Maritime Port Authority to execute rescue operation. PTSC 06 Vessel swiftly reached the scene and took 2 injured crew members to onshore safely and transferred them to Hop Luc International General Hospital for emergency treatment. Thanh Hoa Maritime Port Authority and relevant authorities highly appreciated the responsible and prompt action of PTSC 06 Vessel in the rescue.

To encourage and commend the individuals and teams for making their efforts and dedications in the rescue of Nam Phat 08 Vessel as well as express the attention of the Party and Board of Management (BOM) for the tugboat fleet, PTSC Thanh Hoa BOM has held a meeting to award the certificates and prizes for PTSC 06 Vessel.

The representatives of crew members of PTSC06 Vessel extend the delight and appreciation to BOM, Mr. Dang Van Luong – the captain of PTSC 06 Vessel said that “During the time of handling and resolving the incident, we got the encouragement and close guidance from BOM and Leaders of Operation & Maintenance and Vessel Management. As a result, the spirit of crew members and technicians of PTSC 06 Vessel remained calm, stable to carry out the rescue operations offshore.”

The prompt action of PTSC Thanh Hoa in rescue offshore has shown the high responsibility of PTSC/ PTSC Thanh Hoa’s tugboat team in maritime activities, making contribution in affirming the brand of service vessel in Nghi Son area.
