PTSC Thanh Hoa organized preliminary conference on party activities, business activities and trade unions in the first half of 2016

On 16^th July 2016, PTSC Thanh Hoa held a meeting to summarize Party's work, production,  business activities and trade union activities in the first 6 months of the year  2016

The meeting was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung – Hero of Labor, Vice President of PVN; Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan, Vice President, Vice Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC and Heads of Departments/PTSC Office and other delegates.

Mr. Le Van Nga- Secretary of the Party Committee/Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa presented preliminary report on business performance in the first half of the year 2016, directions and tasks in the last 6 months of 2016

In the first 6 months of 2016, the Board of Directors of PTSC Thanh Hoa and staffs have implemented numerous solutions, programs and launched emulation movements, mobilized all resources, focused and committed to maintaining and operating our traditional Port Operation and Logistics services, promoted our marketing activities to searching more service contracts in the mechanical, maritime vessel service, logistics and operation support for NSRP, to improve production efficiency.

With regard to the Party Committee’s activities in the first 6 months of 2016, PTSC has carried out well the work of political ideology, internal protection, personnel work, inspection and supervision, the leadership of political organizations. - social work, office work of the Party Committee, party organization and development of party members.

Business activities in the first 6 months of 2016 are as follows:

-             Turnover is estimated at VND 217 billion, reached 49.50% of the plan.

-             Profit before tax is estimated at 19.0 billion, reached 62.60% of the plan.

-             Paying state budget is VND4.24 billion, reached 70.7% of the plan

Besides, Labor Union of PTSC Thanh Hoa always takes care of material and spiritual lives for employees, promote and maintain cultural activities, arts and sports. In May 2016, the company participated in PTSC’s annual sports festival and achieved high results.

Mr. Le Van Nga, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa has set the target for the last 6 months of 2016 as follows:

• Based on the results of production and business in the first 6 months of 2016, review the targets of the plan in 2016, evaluate each type of services, analyze causes and provide solutions to ensure PTSC Thanh Hoa achieve the annual targets.
• Continue to strengthen marketing and research activities to expand the market in order to maintain and develop core services such as Port Operation and Logistics Service; EPC; Maritime service vessels, Operation and Maintenance. Continuously improve technique, streamline the production plan, reduce costs, improve service quality.
• Enhance training, attract resources with capacity, experience, enthusiasm; Prepare synchronous infrastructure for the development of key services as well as successful implementation of  awarded bid packages.    

Together with the direction of production and business, constantly disseminate, educate all workers to implement the guidelines, policies of the Party Committee, and the law of Vietnam. Build the Party Committee of PTSC Thanh Hoa strong in 2016. Maintain the principle of centralized democracy, enhance the leadership capacity of the Party Committee and its affiliates in assigned tasks.

As the instruction of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung – Hero of Labor, Vice President of PVN praised and appreciated the achievements and efforts of Board of Management and all employees of PTSC Thanh Hoa. At the same time, he also emphasized the difficulties of PVN and PTSC due to the low oil price, suggested that the unit needs to further improve its competitiveness, aggressiveness and determination in winning the bidding packages in NSRP operation phase  as well as promoting the investment to improve the capacity of port exploitation and market development. He also noted the need to continue to focus on educating workers in time to catch up, share difficulties and fluctuations in 2016 and work together to complete well production targets of the year 2016.
