PTSC Thanh Hoa Organizes a review conference to summarize party mission, business activities, trade union activities in 2016 and labor meeting in 2017

The conference was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung - Labor Hero, Vice President of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group; Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep – Member of PVN’s Standing Committee, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC; Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - Deputy Secretary of Delegation, CEO and President of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan - Member of the Party Committee, Vice President, Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC together with their leaders in the Board of Directors, Professional Committees, Directors of branches of PTSC: Petroleum Services Company, PTSC Mechanical & Construction (PTSC M&C), PTSC Supply Base Company Limited, PTSC Marine, etc.. with 117 ministerial participants, party members, elite delegates elected from the Company's divisions/teams/factories.

At the meeting, Mr. Pham Hung Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee/Deputy Director of  PTSC Thanh Hoa, on behalf of the Party Committee, presented the report on the Party Mission in 2016 and the direction in 2017; Mr. Le Van Nga - Secretary of the Party Committee/Director presented the report on business performance in 2016, direction and in 2017;

In 2016, with the difficulties of the market still remain due to the low oil prices and the challenge of competition is increasingly severe, on the other hand, mechanical work volume, logistics from the Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemicals LLC is sharply reduced, the petrochemical project is delayed so all packages cannot be implemented. Facing such difficulties, the Board of Directors and PTSC Thanh Hoa’s staffs have implemented various solutions and programs of action, concentrating all resources to implement the signed contracts in parallel with the promotion of marketing activities to find new contracts, to thoroughly implement cost savings to improve business efficiency. The results achieved in 2016 are as follows: Business revenue is estimated at 444.5 billion VND, reaching 101.5% of the plan; Profit before tax was estimated at 29.0 billion VND, achieving 96.67% of the year plan. Average employee income is 12,500,000 VND.

In 2016, the company has actively focused on marketing and expanding the market, especially the participation in bidding for all packages in the running and operating stage of Nghi Son Refinery. With the high determination, suitable orientation combined with information complex in time, the bidding has made many outstanding achievements such as: Maritime Vessel Services for NSRP with the duration of 15 years contract, Operation Support Package; PP Handling and Shipping Operations Package; RFCC Catalyst Handling Package; NSRP port dredging contract; Pre Commissioning Package.

At the conference, Mr. To Ngoc Thu – Deputy Director/Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC Thanh Hoa presented the report on trade union activities, emulation movement in 2016 and the plan for 2017. In 2016, PTSC Thanh Hoa well- implemented policies, took care of the lives of workers, grassroots democracy and dialogue at the workplace. To achieve these achievements,   to the continuous efforts of the whole staff of the company. In order to acknowledge these contributions, the Board of Directors also announced and presented the awards to individuals. , collective achievement of excellence in party mission and production in 2016.

Addressing at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung - Labor Hero, Vice President of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan - Member of the Party Committee, Vice President, Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC praised and evaluated high achievements, efforts of all staffs of PTSC Thanh Hoa have overcome the most favorable aspects, overcome difficulties, challenges and timely grasp opportunities to create jobs in 2017 and the following years. At the same time, also directed company's leaders to focus on directing resources for effective and safe implementation of bidding packages to provide services to NSRP and continue to study and offer other services for NSRP and Thermal Power projects in and outside the region to contribute to the successful completion of production and business tasks in 2017.

After more than 03 hours of hard work and serious publicity, the Conference on summarize Party mission, business activities, trade union activities in 2016 and Labor Meeting in 2017 of PTSC Thanh Hoa successfully ended. Through the Conference, the Board of Directors and all employees of PTSC Thanh Hoa are determined to perform well in 2017.
