PTSC Thanh Hoa Successfully Held The Annual General Meeting 2016

On 9th April 2016, PTSC Thanh Hoa Joint Stock Company successfully organized Annual General Meeting 2016. Participators including Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung –Labor Hero, Vice President of PVN, Mr.Thai Quoc Hiep - Secretary of the Party Committee/Chairman of Board of Directors of PTSC and the shareholders who are the owners of 39,694,300 shares (99.24%).

Mr. Le Van Nga –Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa reported about production and business result of PTSC Thanh Hoa. He emphasized that 2015 is a foundation year of PTSC Thanh Hoa, and the targets to maintain the traditional market together with sustainable development of new services by the advantages of PTSC such as mechanical, maritime service vessels and logistics. Most of the opportunities are successfully implemented in order to increase capacity and competitiveness.

PTSC Thanh Hoa outperformed the 2015 targets which were assigned by the General Meeting: Revenue in 2015 was VND 711,599 billion, equal to 165.49% of the plan of year, equal to 140,68% of the plan in 2014; Profit before tax reached VND 48,616 billion, achieved 240.08% of the plan of year, equal to 271.35% of the results in 2014; The average income in 2015 was 18.8 million VND/person/month, the number in 2014 was 10.6 million VND/person /month.

The annual general meeting 2016 approved the reports in 2015 and the plan for 2016; Report on business results in 2015 and the plan for 2016; The supervisory and monitoring report in 2015 and the plan for 2016; The audited financial statement 2015 and selection of auditors for financial statements in 2016; Financial Statement 2015 & Financial Plan 2016; Statement on investment of "Berth 2 Expansion (Period 1) - PTSC Thanh Hoa Port"; Statement on amendments and supplements to the charters of PTSC Thanh Hoa; Statement on approval of list of members of the Board of Directors, list of Supervisory Board for the term of 2016-2021; Report on the remuneration of members of the Board of Directors, Supervisory Board members in 2016; Approved the draft resolution of the Annual General Meeting 2016.

In 2016, PTSC Thanh Hoa aims to make a solid foundation for long-term development of core services such as mechanical, logistics, maritime service vessels with the focus on providing services for Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical Complex. Maintain traditional services, especially successful executed plans to occupy the market of 50,000 DWT vessels.

PVN Vice President - Nguyen Hung Dung highly appreciated the activities and achievements of PTSC Thanh Hoa in the past year and strongly believed that PTSC Thanh Hoa would continue to grow and complete the business targets set by the Annual General Meeting in 2016.

On behalf of the Presidium, Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan - Chairman of Board of Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa gave speech at the end of the meeting and pledged to join with all PTSC Thanh Hoa’s employees continue to maintain and promote existing advantages, in order to complete achieving the objectives of economic plans approved.

After nearly 3 hours of discussion, the Annual General Meeting voted on the contents of the agenda and the draft resolution of the Annual General Meeting 2016. All the contents and the Resolution were agreed with high-rate votes. This result proved the absolute trust that the shareholders placed to the Board of Directors and Board of Management of PTSC Thanh Hoa
