PTSC M&C (Vung Tau) won a package of hundred million US dollar oil rig building project

PTSC M & C (Vung Tau) has won the international contractor for oil rig building operation in Qatar. This contract value amounts to hundreds of millions US dollar and the project will create jobs for thousands of workers.

On the afternoon of 15^th November 2018, Mr. Thang X. Dong – Director of PTSC M&C informed that PTSC M&C has won the EPCI contract for Ad Shaheen project with the investor of North Oil Company (Qatar). The value of this package is up to hundreds of million US dollars.

According to the contract, PTSC M&C Shall design together with Technip FMC to buy, execute, install offshore and conduct commissioning the project  (together with PTSC Offshore Services) including three wellheads, three bridges, each platform has the size of more than 3,000 tons.

The execution progress of this project shall be within two years and all platforms are fabricated at PTSC M&C’s warehouse.

PTSC M&C has surpassed many big contractors in Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan and Singapore. In quarter 2-2019, the project will be implemented and completed in the first quarter of 2021. At the peak of the project will create jobs, jobs for more than 3,000 workers.

Previously, PTSC M&C had won international bids for offshore drilling projects such as Talisman Malaysia, Total - France and ONGC – India.
