PTSC Successfully Organized Summarizing Conference on production and business activities, Trade union activities in 2017 and Labour conference in 2018

On December 28, 2017, at Petro Hotel, Vung Tau City, Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) successfully held a conference to summarize the production and business activities, trade union activities in 2017 and Labor Conference in 2018.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son - Deputy Secretary of Party Committee / Members of Board of Management / CEO of PetroVietnam (PVN); Mrs. Nghiem Thuy Lan - Member of Party Committee / Chairman of PetroVietnam Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung - Vice President of PetroVietnam together with the Board of Directors of PTSC and more than 300 delegates are elite employees representing all employees of PVN

2017 continues to be considered a difficult year due to the impact of oil prices, which has had a very serious and severe impact on the oil and gas industry in general and the business environment of PVN in particular. In that period, thanks to the attention and direction of PVN, the sharp and close management of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of PTSC and the solidarity and efforts of all the workers. Total revenue in 2017, consolidated revenue reached 14,800 billion VND, reaching 114% of the year plan; profit before tax reached VND 1,000 billion, reaching 143% of the year plan

Mr. Phan Thanh Tung – CEO and President of PTSC sent his thanks to all employees for their unanimity, understanding and sharing with the Board of Directors in the recent past and continue hard working to accomplish the targets and plans set in 2018.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son praised the results are very proud that collective and employees of PTSC has been struggling to achieve in 2017.

Also at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan presented the report on trade union activities, the implementation of the regulations on democracy, collective labor agreement, rules and regulations related to the policy regime of the employees.

The conference to summarize the production and business activities, trade union activities in 2017 and Labor Conference in 2018 of PTSC has been successful. The difficulties that the oil and gas industry in general and PTSC in particular face next year are very large. In order to complete the plan in 2018, on behalf of the Board of Directors of PTSC, the Presidium of the Conference called on all employees to work together and strive to overcome difficulties and challenges and successfully protecting production and business plans in 2017
