Eight highlight achievement of Vietnam oil and gas industry

In 2009, the Prime Minister decided November 27th as the traditional day of Oil and Gas Industry of Vietnam. From here, after 48 years of construction and development, the oil workers have officially held their own traditions.

During the trip along the revolutionary cause of the Party and people, Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group has achieved many proud achievements, can be summarized by eight highlights:
1. PVN has built up a complete and synchronous system of oil and gas industry facilities, from oil and gas prospecting, exploration, exploitation and processing.

2.Completing the operation under the Group model, successful implementation of corporate restructuring, focusing on the core areas.

3. The Group has been operating effectively and always in the Top of Contributors to the State Budget. The total revenue is over $ 374 billion and the state budget is over $ 105 billion.

4. Petro Vietnam has become a pioneer in international cooperation and integration.

5. The Group has built a strong team of oil and gas workers, with over 60,000 employees with high qualifications, capable of mastering domestic and foreign oil and gas activities

6. The Group has actively promoted and fulfilled its role as the "head” of the economy of the country.

7. The Group actively participates in the protection of sovereignty and national borders at sea.

8. The corporation is always aware of the high responsibility in sharing with the community, contributing to the social welfare of over 500 billion VND.

These are very significant results, while also affirming the good foundation, bravery and wisdom of the heroic oil workers in the periods. The contributions of collectives and individuals of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group to the country have always been recognized by the Party, the State and the people.
