PetroVietnam held Communication Conference in the South

On 20^th June in Ho Chi Minh City, there was a meeting to thoroughly understand the resolution of the Sixth Congress of PetroVietnam’s Labor Union and Communications Conference in the South.

Attending the conference were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Dzung - Dean of Journalism - Academy of Journalism and Communication; Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan - Chairwoman of  PetroVietnam’s Labor Union; Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Vice Chairman of  PetroVietnam’s Labor Union and representatives of units’ unions in the South.

In the afternoon of the same day, The communications conference was held.

This is the annual event organized by PetroVietnam’s Labor Union on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary News Day (21/6) to honor journalists, reporter and collaborators who are attached to the Vietnam Oil and Gas Union

In the past, online test in website is one of the forms of propaganda has been highly effective, cost-effective and widely spread to employees. PetroVietnam’s Labor Union successfully organized 3 online tests with the theme "Legal Policy", "Organizing Trade Union Congresses at all levels", "Women Activities" ... Competitions have attracted nearly 50 thousand participants.

Delegates shared experiences in communications and propaganda activities

The Chairwoman of PetroVietnam Labor Union, Ms.Nghiem Thuy Lan gave certificates of merit to journalists and collaborators in the South for their active contribution to the work of journalism and propaganda

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Chairwoman of PetroVietnam Labor Union Ms.Nghiem Thuy Lan emphasized that the press and communication activities played a very important role in many activities of Vietnam Oil and Gas Union and affiliated unions in the first six months of 2018.

The Chairman of Vietnam Oil and Gas Union also pointed out that there are some units were not active in sending articles to the PetroVietnam magazine and implementing activities in media. In the coming time, he asked affiliated unions to be more effective. Labor unions of organizations must have training programs, skills training as well as encouraging members - employees actively to contribute news, articles and many other forms for the press and propaganda activities.

On this occasion, Chairwoman of PetroVietnam Labor Union congratulated the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and presented certificates of merit to reporters and collaborators in the South for their active work in the press and propaganda from June 2017 to June 2018.
