PVN paid 23.5 trillion in the first 3 months in 2019

Although the world oil and gas context has fluctuated in the first 3 months of the year, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) still exceeded the planned targets set in the first quarter of 2019.

With the goal of maintaining the pace of production and ensuring the effectiveness in the implementation of the plan and tasks for the whole year 2019 assigned by the Party and the Government, ending the first quarter of 2019, PVN basically completed the set targets and plans.

It is reported that the exploring and exploiting had been implemented as the set plans; finding and constructing 5 wells and finishing 04 wells.

The work of safety and maintaining the regime of 24/24 hours on the occasion of the Lunar New Year has been strictly implemented by oil and gas contractors and units; communication work was maintained smoothly, all units in the Group kept the normal production and business pace. Most of the production targets have exceeded 2-8% of the plan.

Especially, the financial targets of PVN such as total revenue, state budget payment have exceeded the planned targets. In particular, the total revenue reached VND 162.7 trillion, exceeding 6.3% of the first quarter plan and 26.6% of the annual plan; the total budget of PVN reached 23.5 trillion VND, 9.2% higher than the first quarter plan and 27.0% of the year plan.

Investment projects of the group and its member units are strictly controlled. PVN regularly reports to all levels on the progress, difficulties and obstacles in order to have timely solutions to remove and support PVN to implement.

The work of social security is always concerned by PVN and its member units. In the first quarter of 2019, many activities were implemented with a total value of about VND 30 billion. In addition, PTSC’s Youth Union has strongly implemented volunteer activities for community life with a total value of VND 1,736 million; donating 132 units of blood; support to build cultural houses, gratitude houses and great unity houses in some provinces and cities nationwide.
