On December 24, in Hanoi, PetroVietnam (PVN) held a commendation and rewarding ceremony on the occasion of fulfilling the targets and plans on oil and gas exploration and production in 2019.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of PVN's Member Council; Mr. Le Manh Hung, PVN's General Director and leaders in the Board of Member Council, the Board of Directors and all managements, officials and employees of the fields in oil and gas prospection, exploration and production ( E&P), the Group's core areas include: Oil and Gas Exploration and Exploration Committee, Petroleum Exploitation Committee and Petroleum Contract Management Department.

PVN leaders congratulated the representatives of the E&P specialized departments on the excellent completion of the oil and gas production plan in 2019.

In 2019, despite many difficulties and challenges, PVN still exceeded the level, finishing important targets early such as: increasing oil and gas reserves, oil and gas exploitation, electricity output, gas output, total Group revenue, state budget remittance, profits. This result creates a great motivation for the Group to confidently continue deploying and completing its task plans in 2020 and subsequent years.

The result was an important contribution of the E&P, together with the leadership and staff of the departments directly involved in the advisory work at the Group Agency in implementing the E&P field. Important indicators such as increasing reserves, oil and gas exploitation, especially oil exploitation abroad, have had good growth steps, making important contributions to the Group's success and outstanding marks.

General Director Le Manh Hung believes that with the achievements in 2019, the leadership, officers and employees of the Group will continue to strive, contribute and contribute to the development of the Group in the following years, helping the E&P sector - the core area of ​​the Group of sustainable development.
