Leaders of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group inspect the situation of Binh Phuoc Bio-fuel ethanol plant

On 11^th Apr, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh - Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVN led the delegation of Petrovietnam (PVN) to inspect the situation of Binh Phuoc Bio-fuel ethanol plant in Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province; worked with Russia-Vietnamese Joint Venture- Vietsovpetro, PVOIL, OBF about the implementation of the plan for the operation of the plant.

On behalf of PVOIL, Deputy General Director Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tu reported to the delegation the basic information about the OBF and the implementation to re-operate the Binh Phuoc Bio-fuel ethanol plant; OBF's capital-contributing members have approved a plan to restart the first phase in 2018 to take advantage of the need for Bio-fuel; Then phase 2 (from 2019 onwards) will invest in some additional items (CO2 recovery system, turbine generator system, microbiological plant ...) to optimize profit with the purpose is to cover all costs and make profits.

PVOIL General Director Mr. Cao Hoai Duong reported to PVN Chairman Mr. Tran Sy Thanh about the Binh Phuoc Bio Fuel Ethanol Plant.

The implementation of the project to operate the plant in phase 1, including the maintenance and repair, the package performed by the contractor named Licogi16 and Vietsovpetro. Up to the present time, the maintenance and repair work has been carried out as planned without any arising issue which may affect the progress. After finishing maintenance progress, to put the plant into operation, OBF will continue to invest in additional equipment to ensure stable operation of the plant, including: sand separating system, wastewater recirculation system and automatic wastewater monitoring station.

Mr. Tran Sy Thanh heard about the introduction of plant equipment. About HR, OBF has recruited enough key technicians to meet the requirements of the project.

Under the chairmanship of Mr.Tran Sy Thanh, leaders of the corporation, the leaders of the professional departments, together with leaders of PVOIL, OBF had exchanged, discussed, found the direction, specific solutions for difficulties and obstacles for OBF during maintenance, repair, operation and production.
