Signboard ceremony of the project "Golden Star Processing Platform - CPP" welcoming the XIII National Congress of the Party

On December 3 afternoon, in Vung Tau City, PetroVietnam Technical Services Joint Stock Corporation (PTSC) held a signboard ceremony of the project "Golden Star Processing Platform - CPP" to welcome congress XIII National Party.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, there was Mr. Pham Viet Thanh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.

On the side of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), attending and performing the ceremony to attach the signboard of the project were Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of the Group, and representatives of leaders of the professional boards / Group office.

On the side of PTSC, there was Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr.Phan Thanh Tung, General Director Mr.Le Manh Cuong and the leaders of the Board of Directors, the Board of Directors, leaders of PTSC M&C, leaders of Investor Idemitsu attended this event.

Reporting at the ceremony, PTSC leaders said that the Gold Star - CPP Processing Platform Project (SV-CPP) is a key project in the oil and gas engineering field, PTSC M&C has strictly complied with the Vietnamese & international standards in construction investment and given by the investor of Idemitsu within the project implementation and construction process of the project.

Regarding the progress of project implementation, the base of the SV-CPP Central Processing Platform with a volume of 12,600 tons was started on April 10, 2018, launched on July 30, 2019, and completed installation on October 4, 2019. Superstructure The SV-CPP Center Processing Platform with a volume of 14,000 tons was started on March 16, 2018, launched on May 31, 2020, and completed and installed on June 17, 2020.

In general, the SV-CPP Central Processing Platform Project with the largest construction volume in Vietnam so far, along with complex work items, has been endeavored by PTSC M&C to complete the committed schedule. Contracts with Investor Idemitsu, recognized and appreciated by the Investor.

Besides, the security and safety, the environmental standards within the construction process, and the use of project are assessed and approved by the functional agencies and investors.

The SV-CPP Center Processing Platform project is considered to have great significance in terms of politics, economy, and society of the country. PTSC M&C staff, worked in extremely difficult conditions when implementing social gap due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic; many materials and equipment were delayed, requiring a lot of application. Remedial solutions such as increasing design schedule, increasing working intensity, increasing shifts, building special construction measures”.

Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of Communication and Corporate Culture of the Group announced the decision to attach the signboard of the project "Golden Star Processing Platform - CPP".

Chairman of the Board of Members of Petrovietnam, Mr.Hoang Quoc Vuong awarded the logo and certificates of merit of the Central Business Division's Party Committee to the PTSC Party Committee.

Mr.Hoang Quoc Vuong said that the success of the project contributed to affirming the correct, timely, and effective policy of the Party Committee and the Group's leadership in promoting domestic resources. At the same time, it shows the determination and high sense of responsibility of the oil and gas people in the work of protecting and asserting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
