PTSC Thanh Hoa enhances the efficiency and quality of port operation service

PTSC Thanh Hoa is one of the pioneers in port operation service in Nghi Son Economic Zone. In the early stages of operation, Nghi Son Port mainly received relief goods, products for agriculture and people's daily life as well as domestic goods. To achieve more economic efficiency, PTSC Thanh Hoa has adjusted the spearhead strategy of creating the differentiation of its port operation service from the competition.

PTSC Thanh Hoa has invested in upgrading Berth 1 from 10,000 DWT to 20,000 DWT, Berth 2 from 30,000 DWT to 50,000 DWT. In October 2013, Berth 2 successfully welcomed the Scoter Vessel 57,000 DWT

In 2014, PTSC Thanh Hoa cooperated with Tatsumi Vietnam in winning the contract to operate the temporary jetty, provide customs declaration services, transportation and delivery cargoes for Nghi Son Refinery & Petrochemical LLC (NSRP).

In 2018, PTSC Thanh Hoa welcomed the largest vessel up to now – vessel NAUTICAL LUCA has the capacity of 63,548 DWT- arrived at the port to receive the cargo completely and safely.

The representative of PTSC Thanh Hoa said: Port operation and logistics services in the coming time will face fierce competition from existing ports as well as new ports being built.

Therefore, PTSC Thanh Hoa will continue to implement synchronous solutions to make port operation service become a mainstay of core services. In particular, the key solution is to renovate mining technology, invest in modern equipment and increase the intensity of mechanization. Besides, PTSC Thanh Hoa will invest in building new ships, repairing and renovating existing ships, promoting marketing, finding customers, and coordinating with strong partners to improve port operation service efficiency.
