Petrovietnam has transferred 400 billion VND to the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 Prevention and Control

According to the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), the amount of 400 billion VND has been transferred to the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

Previously, at the ceremony of launching and receiving donations and support from individuals, units, agencies and businesses for the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of Petrovietnam awarded 400 billion VND to contribute to the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 prevention and control. Up to now, this amount has been fully transferred by Petrovietnam to the Fund's account.

This amount is deducted from the expenses of the mother company - Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and its member units.

Up to now, the amount of 400 billion VND has been fully transferred by Petrovietnam to the account of the Vaccine Fund for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

With the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, responsibility for the community, joining hands with the Party, State and people throughout the country in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, Petrovietnam has actively joined hands with the Government and people. The whole country quickly repels the pandemic, because the highest goal is to keep a safe environment for the people, maintain production, and contribute to ensuring the implementation of the "dual goal" of effective epidemic prevention and control and socio-economic development. Up to now, the support activities of the Group and its member units in the prevention of Covid-19 reached over 500 billion VND.

In the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, with the determination to ensure absolute safety, not disrupt production and business activities, closely follow the direction of the Central, Government and other agencies. Authorities, Petrovietnam promptly issued a series of specific solutions, actively reviewed and updated plans for epidemic prevention and control. Thereby controlling the epidemic, maintaining the stability and safety of production and business activities. Petrovietnam and its member units are also actively coordinating with ministries, branches and medical facilities to deploy Covid-19 vaccine for all employees in the Group. In the immediate future, as of June 21, 2021, Petrovietnam has organized 02 rounds of vaccination against Covid-19 for 2,450 oil and gas workers.
