PetroVietnam worked with Gazprom and Quang Tri province on Bao Vang gas field

On November 27th, PetroVietnam CEO and President Nguyen Vu Truong Son led the delegation to work with Gazprom International (Russia) and People's Committee of Quang Tri Province on the prospects of Bao Vang gas field

Besides Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son, on the Petrovietnam side also were the attendance of the Board member- Mr. Nguyen Tien Vinh, Vice President Nguyen Hung Dung and representatives of specialized boards. Regarding to Quang Tri Province, there was the participation of Chairman of Quang Tri People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Duc Chinh, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri People's Committee – Mr. Nguyen Quan Chinh and representatives of related departments. President Nguyen Vu Truong Son presented to the People's Committee of Quang Tri on drilling rig model

At the meeting, President Nguyen Vu Truong Son informed the delegates about Bao Vang gas field project. President Nguyen Vu Truong Son said that the deployment of gas treatment plants and gas plants using gas from Bao Vang field will contribute positively to the socio-economic development of Quang Tri province. President Director Nguyen Vu Truong Son also thanked the close cooperation of Quang Tri province in carrying out the related work of this project.

Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee- Mr. Nguyen Duc Chinh said that the province has also worked with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, reporting to the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on the contents related to this project. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also supported the urgent implementation of the important project of Quang Tri province. In addition, Quang Tri province has also worked and signed a memorandum of understanding with Gazprom International.

On behalf of the leaders of Quang Tri Province, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chinh also pledged to work closely together to create the most favorable conditions to work with the partners in the preparation and implementation of the project.
