"At that time, the idea of ​​the project was broken, because it could not bring people to," said Duong Hung Van.

However, receiving support from clients who are the oil and gas operator North Oil Company (NOC - a member company of the Qatar National Oil and Gas Group) has sought assistance at the Qatari government level and at the foreign level assigned to be able to issue special visas and dedicated aircraft for POS personnel to work in Qatar. In addition, in the process, POS is also urgently looking for other sources of labor to replace personnel in countries banned from entry into Qatar, transferring necessary courses to countries that have not been much affected by translation Covid-19; endeavor to find alternative supplies and equipment in the host country of Qatar ... Up to now, POS has brought a large number of staff compared to the original plan to work in Qatar. All personnel are quarantined according to regulations, ensuring health.

Like the project in Qatar and other projects, the chain of Sao Vang - Dai Nguyet Project by PTSC Marine Engineering Services Company Limited (PTSC M&C) as general contractor EPCIC was also greatly affected by the Covid pandemic- 19, making the implementation time prolonged, the cost increased. Although most of the project's work is done by PTSC's resources, some special and special equipment must be imported and accompanied by expert mobilization. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, PTSC could not mobilize international experts, imported equipment was delayed ... However, with the efforts of PTSC as well as the support from the Government and the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), up to now, the project chain has been basically completed and ready to be officially put into operation.

According to the mining owners, if this project is not implemented by the internal resources of PTSC as well as domestic companies, it will be impossible. This time, PTSC has risen to assume the role of general contractor in the consortium of contractors, implementing 5/7 bidding packages, the workload accounts for about 70%, mobilizing nearly 3,000 employees to participate in the implementation. Therefore, despite being greatly affected by the Covid-19 epidemic on the mobilization of experts as well as the import of necessary equipment and equipment, due to the high localization rate, PTSC has worked with contractors. In the country, the internal strength has been promoted, successfully implemented the 4th general maintenance phase of Dung Quat oil refinery plant.
