PTSC Thanh Hoa successfully holds the 5th Trade Union Congress, Term 2025–2030

On October 23, 2025, under the theme “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Innovation – Development,” the Trade Union of PTSC Thanh Hoa successfully organized its 5th Congress for the 2025–2030 term. This significant event reflected the will, aspiration, and determination of all union members and employees toward the shared goal: “for workers’ rights and sustainable development.”

The Congress welcomed the attendance of Mr. Vu Duc Cuong – Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, Vice Chairman of PTSC Trade Union; Mr. Le Van Nga – Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC Thanh Hoa; together with representatives from the Party Committee, Board of Management, Veteran Association, Youth Union, departmental leaders, grassroots unions, and delegates representing all employees.

Overview of the Congress

Delivering the report, Mr. Do Tien Cong – Chairman of the Trade Union – highlighted the notable achievements of the 2023–2025 term. The Trade Union promoted effectively its role and coordinated with the company's leadership in caring for employees, promoting productivity and innovation, making contribution to the excellent completion of business objectives. The union prioritized protecting legitimate rights and benefits through updating to the Collective Labor Agreement, full implementation of welfare policies, and initiatives to enhance employees’ physical and mental well-being by organizing meaningful activities such as the “Petroleum Spring of Compassion” program; providing modern office and sports facilities at Truc Lam.  Culture and Sports events are promoted which strengthening solidarity and creating an energetic workplace. The union also actively participated in social welfare and community engagement initiatives.

For the 2025–2030 term, PTSC Thanh Hoa Trade Union set the objective of “enhancing leadership capacity and innovating operations”, aiming to build a streamlined, strong, and effective organization. Key priorities include strengthening the protection of workers’ rights, improving living standards, promoting employee engagement. The union also continue to advance patriotic emulation movements and technical innovation initiatives to contribute to business success, developing a strong corporate culture and participating in building a stronger Party and administrative system.

During the discussion session, the Congress received many constructive contributions focusing on enhancing labor movements, strengthening women’s affairs, and improving occupational safety in production activities. A direct dialogue between employers and employees was also conducted, reflecting a spirit of democracy, respect, and timely resolution of concerns.

Addressing the Congress, Mr. Le Van Nga – Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors – praised the union’s achievements in the 2023–2025 term. He encouraged the union to continue supporting employees, fostering corporate culture, and aligning its activities with PTSC Thanh Hoa’s mission of “Aspiration to Serve,” vision, core values, and action principles. He also emphasized building a respectful, fair, and inclusive working environment where employees’ capabilities and contributions are recognized. These orientations are the foundation for the Union to continue to promote its role, contributing to the sustainable development of PTSC Thanh Hoa in the new era.

Representing PTSC Trade Union, Mr. Vu Duc Cuong congratulated the achievements of PTSC Thanh Hoa’s Trade Union and recognized its innovative and effective contributions. He requested the new Executive Committee to closely follow the Congress Resolution, enhance safety culture by encouraging every worker to act as a safety supervisor, actively engage in restructuring and digital transformation, and improve the competencies of union officials. He expressed confidence that PTSC Thanh Hoa’s Trade Union will continue achieving greater success in the new term.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the 5th PTSC Thanh Hoa Trade Union for the 2025–2030 term in a democratic, transparent, and lawful manner. The elected members are reputable, competent, and trusted representatives tasked with leading union activities. Delegates to the 9th PTSC Trade Union Congress were also elected, representing the collective voice and aspirations of PTSC Thanh Hoa employees, continuing to contribute to the growth of PTSC Trade Union.
