PTSC Thanh Hoa received the first delivery of over- sized super heavy cargo ship

At 9:00 am on January 1^st 2015, at JGCS Temporary Jetty, PTSC Thanh Hoa successfully received M/V ANNE SOFIE from SAL Heavy Lift Company (Germany) carrying 07 oversized and super-heavy bulks of NSRP Project (NSRP).  These are modules of the vacuum distillation unit of the factory; the heaviest module is Atmospheric Fractionator Module with 60.7 meters long, 6.4 meters wide, 7.1 meters high and weighs 225 tons.

The event was on the first day of the new year 2015 that has received great attention from leaders of Thanh Hoa province, Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP), General contractor JGCS and workers on the project site.

Immediately after the first Atmospheric Fractionator Module was successfully transferred from MV ANNE SOFIE to Viettransimex SPMT specialized transport equipment, Mr. Trinh Van Chien, Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Hoa People’s Council, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Xung, Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Hoa- Head of Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone,  and leaders of Tinh Gia district visited and congratulated this event.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Trinh Van Chien highly appreciated the efforts of NSRP, JGCS and other companies to overcome the difficulties in order to speed up the construction progress of the project. He also congratulated the event of receiving the first oversized super heavy shipment at JGCS Temporary Jetty. On behalf of Thanh Hoa province, Mr. Trinh Van Chien gave flowers to the representatives of NSRP, JGCS, ANNE SOFIE and PTSC Thanh Hoa.

Mr. Le Van Nga, Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa expressed his sincere thanks to the leaders of Thanh Hoa province and committed to manage and operate JGCS Temporary Jettty safely.

After 02 working days, all 07 modules of vacuum distillation tower complex were taken to the final installation location at the project site safely and in time.  MV ANNE SOFIE has also left Temporary Jetty in the morning of 03rd January 2015 to continue its voyage to Japan to receive the second shipment. It is expected to return to Nghi Son at the end of January 2015. This event has a great significance to the project construction process as well as contributes to enhance the prestige and brand image of PTSC Thanh Hoa in providing Port Operation and Logistics service.

Some information about JGCS's Temporary Jetty

Temporary Construction Jetty is invested by JGCS Consortium. It is located in Zone 4 - Marine Works, with the length of 80 m, the width of 21 m, and 8 anchors with the load of 70 tons. The water depth in front of the wharf is - 8.5 m, which can receive 160m-long ships up to 20,000 DWT. The jetty is designed with the main purpose of receiving over-sized super heavy packages of the project.

On November 17^th 2014, JGCS Consortium officially handed over the Temporary Jetty Operation contract to PTSC Thanh Hoa.
