Although it was foggy which affected the sight and movement of the ship, MV Anne Sofie has been escorted by Pilot 6 after two hours and arrived safely at JGCS Temporary Jetty at 9:20 am on January 21st, 2015 in the expectation of the representatives of Nghi Son Refinery and Petrochemical LLC (NSRP), JGCS contractor, Nippon Express, Tatsumi and PTSC Thanh Hoa.

This second vessel trip consists of six units which are modules of the specialized refinery reactor complex of NSRP. All of units were built in Japan and launched at Muroran Port. Each module weighs about 650 tons; the heaviest module is 671 tons. In addition to, there are about 50 packages accompanied by the total volume of more than 4,000 FT. MV Anne is considered to be the largest container ship that anchored at JGCS Temporary Jetty till now.

Tool box meeting before starting work
To ensure strict compliance with safety requirements during discharging and transportation of equipment from JGCS Temporary Jetty to the final assembly location of NSRP site, on January 20th 2015, PTSC Thanh Hoa's Board of Temporary Jetty Operation Project organized a meeting to agree on the implementation plan. At the meeting, all the issues have been discussed in detail and gained a high level of consensus among the participants.

The meeting was attended by JGCS Contractor, JVD HSSE, Nippon Express, Tatsumi, PTSC Thanh Hoa and representatives of Ship owner - Benline
Due to careful preparation from the procedures, the implementation plan as well as the full preparation of human resources, machinery and facilities for cargo handling, after only 12 hours of continuous working, all 6 modules and nearly 49 packages have been successfully and safely discharged by PTSC Thanh Hoa.

The successful receiving and unloading of the second ships at JGCS Temporary Jetty ensuring the safety and progress for the shipments of super-heavy oversized equipment confirms the capacity of PTSC Thanh Hoa in loading and unloading the over-sized super heavy cargo and also contributed to enhancing PTSC’s reputation brand name.
