PVN leads other enterprises on profit

PetroVietnam has just released its audited consolidated financial statements in 2018, with a profit of VND 50.6 trillion, PVN has risen to the leading position in Vietnam's economy in terms of profit.

For many years, PVN, along with Viettel and two enterprises under Samsung Vietnam: Samsung Electronics Vietnam (Sam Sung Bac Ninh) and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen (Samsung Thai Nguyen) are the four leading profitable enterprises in the economy.

In 2018, with profit before tax about 50.6 trillion dong, increasing 7.5 % compared with 47 trillion dong in 2017.

The effective operation and healthy financial situation of PetroVietnam has been highly appreciated by many reputable domestic and international organizations.

In the first 8 months of 2019, in the context of difficult global and domestic oil and gas industry, PetroVietnam continues to have remarkable business results. By the end of August, the total revenue of PetroVietnam was estimated at VND 489.5 trillion, exceeding 19% of the 8-month plan and equaling 80% of the year plan; State budget submission was estimated at 68.9 trillion VND, exceeding 14% of the 8-month plan and equaling 78.8% of the year plan.

The restructuring and reorganization of the apparatus has created a new "breath of gas" in all activities of PetroVietnam. Currently, PetroVietnam focuses on managing resources, finance and investment as well as managing and promoting business and production, expanding markets to increase value and improve production and business efficiency.
