Culture in the use of business cards

 1. Use business cards

*   Need to prepare a few cards in advance in order to give the card immediately / to the reception for the first time

*   Business cards can be accompanied with gifts, souvenirs. They can be used to visit or send thanks

*   Do not use old crumpled, broken corner and dirty cards

*   Do not write other information on your business card

*   Forms of business cards are used in accordance with PetroVietnam's regulations

 2. How to give or exchange business cards

*   The person introducing himself/herself give his/her own business card first

*   The person who is introduced give the business cards after receiving the card of the opposite person

*   Stand up when giving business cards. Give business cards so that recipients can easily remember all information after receipt

*   If the other person gives you a business card, lightly nod your head when picking up the card

*   Keep a distance of an arm when receiving business cards. Look and confirm the information on the card

*   If necessary, ask for information on the pronunciation of the name or any other information that is not clear on the card

*   When exchanging business cards with many people, start with the highest ranking person

*   When exchanging business cards with two groups, start with the leaders of both groups

*   Rearrange business cards after receipt and do something to keep in mind those who have met

*   Give card by your left hand and receive it with your right hand
