The closing and awarding ceremony of the 6th skill Contest of Oil and Gas industries in 2019

On the afternoon of November 24, at the Petroleum College - PVMTC (Vung Tau City), Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held the closing and awarding ceremony for the 6th skill contest of Oil and Gas industries in 2019.

Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh - General Director of General Department of Vocational Education - Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA); Mr. Dinh The Phuc - Head of Energy Department - State Capital Management Committee at the enterprise; Mr. Nguyen Chi Cuong - Director of Department of Vocational Skills, General Department of Vocational Education - MOLISA; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Long - Chairman of People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province; Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Deputy Head of Propaganda Department of Ba Ria Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee.

On the side of PVN, there was Mr. Do Chi Thanh - Deputy General Director of the Group, Head of the Organization Board of the Competition; Mr. Tran Quang Dung - Member of the Party Standing Committee, Head of Corporate Communications and Corporate Culture; Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Oil and Gas Union; Mr. Vu Duy Hao - Principal of PVMTC, Standing Vice Chairman of Organization Board of the contest; Mr. Phan Sy Linh - Permanent Deputy Secretary of Youth Union of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group; Mr. Le Minh Hong - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Oil and Gas Association; together with representatives of the Group's professional boards and leaders of member units, heads of units and all contestants participating in the contest.

The 6th skill Contest of Oil and Gas industries in 2019 has gathered 186 typical faces representing the excellent workers of the industry, selected from 12 members of the Group, participating in the contest of 12 occupations: Operating oil and gas drilling equipment; Operating oil refineries; Solder; Assembly; Industrial electronics; Operating thermal power plants; Automation; Turnery; Graphic design; Operating oil and gas exploitation and IT system administration.

After 4 days of competition, there were 95 contestants winning individual prizes, of which 14 contestants won the first prize, 16 candidates won the second prize, 32 candidates won the third prize and 33 candidates won the consolation prize. There are 5 collective prizes, of which PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) won the First Prize of the whole delegation; PetroVietnam Technical Services Joint Stock Corporation (PTSC) won the second prize of the whole delegation, Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Vietsovpetro won the third prize of the whole delegation, Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) and PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) co-awarded the consolation prize of the whole delegation.

The 6^th skill Contest of Oil and Gas industries in 2019 has ended successfully, after days of exciting competition with surging emotions. Memorable and proud moments will continue to be the motivation for the enthusiastic and creative working spirit of oil and gas workers and fire seekers who are always eager to conquer new heights.
