PetroVietnam’s Chairman worked with US petroleum companies

From 24^th June to 1^st July 2018, the delegation of PetroVietnam led by Mr. Thanh S. Tran, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy Prime Minister Hue D. Vuong paid a visit in Washington DC and Boston (USA).

During the business trip, Mr. Thanh S. Tran participated in diplomatic activities with Deputy Prime Minister such as: meeting with Minister of Finance – Steven Mnuchin, and Acting United States Secretary of State - John Sullivan, Assistant Secretary for Industry and Analysis Affairs - Nazak Nikakhtar, United States Deputy National Security Advisor- Mira Ricadel, IMF Deputy Managing Director - Miushiro Furusawa.

PetroVietnam executives worked at US Chamber of Commerce

On 25^th June 2018, at US Chamber of Commerce, under the witness of Deputy Prime Minister Hue D. Vuong and Assistant Secretary for Industry and Analysis Affairs - Nazak Nikakhtar, the ceremony of signing contracts among Vietnam – US Corporations was held. Especially, the certificate for Investment and Management of Oil Field 15 – 1/05 was given to Murphy Oil by Deputy Prime Minister – Hai T. Do.

Chairman - Thanh S. Tran and Vice General Director Thap Q. Nguyen had working sessions with some US corporations and companies such as: Halliburton, Honeywell, Exxon Mobil, Murphy Oil, AES in order to exchange and share experiences and technologies for boosting cooperation the coming time.
