Summarizing conference for the preparation phase of NSRP packages and achieving the target of production and business plan of the year 2017

On November 10^th, 1977, at the meeting hall, PTSC Thanh Hoa Port Joint Stock Company (PTSC Thanh Hoa) successfully held the summarizing conference to finalize the preparation phase of NSRP packages and achieving the target of the production and business plan in 2017 three months in advance

The conference was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung - Labor Hero, Vice President of PVN; Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep - Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC; Mr. Phan Thanh Tung - CEO and President of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hai – Vice President of PTSC, Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan - Vice President, Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC together with their leaders in the Board of Directors, Directors of branches of PTSC. Representatives of PTSC Thanh Hoa were Mr. Le Van Nga – Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Mr. Pham Hung Phuong – Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Mr.Le Ngoc Thu – Deputy Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Chairman of Labor Union of PTSC Thanh Hoa, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dung – Deputy Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa with party members, elite delegates elected from the Company's divisions/teams/factories.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Khac Dung - Deputy Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa reported on summarizing the preparation phase of NSRP packages, reviewed and evaluated the achieved results and proposed plans and solutions in order to win packages in the operational phase of NSRP; Mr. Pham Hung Phuong - Director of PTSC Thanh Hoa reported the business results in the first 9 months of 2017, the direction and tasks of the last 3 months. He also pointed out the advantages and difficulties as well as solutions to successfully achieve the tasks in the coming years.

During the first 9 months of 2017, PTSC Thanh Hoa focused on implementing the tasks of production and business plan, drastically executed the work of the signed bidding packages, finalized the completed works and handed over, strengthened marketing activities, improved production innovations and training to enhance the quality of human resources, reduced costs to boost competitiveness in order to attract customers and investment; Focused investment on the projects approved by PTSC ensuring the investment projects’ efficiency. Revenue from production and business activities in the first 09 months of 2017 reached 434,890 million VND, which was equal to 137.67% compared to the same period of 2016 and achieved 104.44% of the plan for 2017; Profit before tax was VND 28,844 million, equaling to 119.68% compared to the same period of 2016 and reached 115.37% compared to 2017.

The attendees of the conference also discussed and commented on the issues related to the implementation, the difficulties and solutions for improving competitiveness and efficiency in the production. PTSC Thanh Hoa leaders oriented to develop O & M service (Operation and Maintenance), which shall be become strategic service of PTSC Thanh Hoa in the futureSpeaking at the meeting, on behalf of the leaders, Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan –Vice President, Chairman of Labor Union of PTS praised the achievements of PTSC Thanh Hoa in the year of 2017. He also highly appreciated the efforts of PTSC leaders and employees over the past years for successfully implementing core services including Maritime vessels service, Port Operation and Logistics service, Mechanical and Construction Service, etc… for Nghi Son Petrochemical Refinery Complex. He also proposed the Board of Directors of PTSC Thanh Hoa and employees continue striving and cooperate effectively with the investors
