Opening the 6th Oil and Gas Skilled Competition

In the  exciting atmosphere of the entire oil and gas industry effort to complete the victory of planning mission in 2019, celebrating the big holidays of the country, of the oil industry and welcome the new year, Vietnam Oil Corporation (PVN) organized the 6th Oil and Gas Skilled Contest.

On 11/20th/2019, the competition was opened at the Oil Gas College (PVMTC), Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Attending the opening ceremony of Mr. Tran Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province; Mr. Do Chi Thanh, Deputy General Director of PVN, Head of the Organization Committee; Mr. Ngo Thường San, President of the Oil and Gas Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Oil Union; Mrs. Vu Thi Thu Huong, Secretary of Youth Group Youth Group.

Mr. Do Chi Thanh presented the opening ceremony of the Contest.

At the ceremony, representatives of the organization, Mr. Vu Duy Hao, Rector of PVMTC, Vice Head of the Standing Committee of the Contest said, this year's Contest was held in 5 days from 20/11 - 24/11 at two facilities of PVMTC in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province with the participation of 191 candidates from 12 members, directly in PVN, competing in 12 professions: Transport Oil Drilling Equipment, Oil Refinery Operation, weld, Assembly, Industrial Electronics, Power Plant Operating, Automation, Convenient, Graphic Design, Oil and Management Treatment of information technology network system. Now the work content must be done to prepare is complete and ready for all activities of the Contest that takes place as planned.

Unlimited age competition, the oldest 56-year-old contestant from PVDrilling, the youngest 21-old candidate from PVMTC; the most crowded competition is Automation with Automation with 34 contestants; the most crowded candidates are Vietsovpetro and PV GAS with 34 contestants. The candidates are carefully selected by the units, selected from the base-level workmanship competition, who representing the competition.

Opening speech of the Contest, Mr. Do Chi Thanh, Deputy General Director of PVN, Head of the Contest, emphasized, through 5 times, Oil Skilled Contest has become a day on the activities subject, career skills, is the opportunity for workers to exchange, learn experience, improve level of expertise, workmanship, chalk fight more and more good engineers, many high-level technical workers in Oil and gas industry. The competition has also become a tradition of fire seekers, a beauty of business culture, is the day of honoring the golden hands of the oil workers team.

In order for the 6th Petroleum Professional Contest to take place successfully, Mr. Do Chi Thanh suggested the organizers, the vocational committee, judges and all candidates to attend the competition seriously implementation of the rules , regulation of the Contest. The PVN Oil Skilled Competition was held for the first time in 2009, twitch every 2 years with the goal of promoting learning movement, scientific research, initiative initiative, improvements magic and rational production, workmanship in the team of oil workers; creating opportunities for workers, staff officers, experts in exchange, learning, technical capture, new technology of the world to widely popular in the vocational teaching system and sexual practice in production; honoring high knowledge workers and skills... The competition is also the occasion to find out, selection and fostering young contestants, with excellent skills to participate in the ASEAN National and ASEAN region.
