Leading to the delegation were Mr. Do Chi Thanh, Vice President of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and Mr. Duong Manh Son, General Director of PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas). The delegation also has representatives of the leaders of affiliated companies of PV GAS in cooperation with Tokyo Gas.
The delegation at Tokyo gas headquarters was Mr. Takashi Uchida, Deputy General Director; Hisashi Nakamura, Chief Representative of Vietnam, Mr. Yuji Kobayashi, Chief Representative of Ho Chi Minh City and officials of Tokyo Gas.
Petrovietnam/PV GAS visited and worked at Tokyo Gas
Representative of Tokyo Gas expressed his pleasure and honored to welcome Petrovietnam / PV GAS team to work at Tokyo Gas, extending the cooperation and longtime relationship. Tokyo Gas also announced the upcoming staff status, program of visiting and working in Vietnam by the leaders of Tokyo Gas in 2018.
The two sides expressed their desire to tighten the cooperation between Petrovietnam / PV GAS and Tokyo Gas through actively implementing projects such as LNG Thi Vai storage project, PVGas D co-generation project Tokyo Gas will use its expertise and experience in this area to provide technical assistance and to seek preferential capital to ensure investment efficiency in urban gas projects.
Mr. Duong Manh Son, General Director of PV GAS invited Mr. Takashi Uchida, Deputy General Director of Tokyo Gas to visit Vietnam and work with PV Gas - an important partner of Tokyo gas in Vietnam in particular and in Asia in general. He also expressed his wish that the active cooperation of Tokyo Gas in the past time will soon achieve clearer results, more open in the future
The Petrovietnam / PV GAS delegation attended a meeting with Tokyo Gas
The meeting was pleased with the recent positive relationship between the two states, cooperative activities of enterprises of the two countries also moved positively. Two companies in particular, the two countries' oil and gas industry in general have continued to develop effective cooperation, especially two events: establishment of LNG VIETNAM JSC with the participation of Tokyo Gas Asia (branch of Tokyo Gas); Tokyo Gas Asia has acquired a 24.9% stake in PV Gas D, becoming a major shareholder in the low pressure gas business in Vietnam.
Mr. Do Chi Thanh, Vice President of Petrovietnam and members of the delegation also sincerely thanked the warm welcome, warm cooperation of Tokyo Gas and wished the two sides will have the opportunity to cooperate more deeply in next time.
