Improving the effectiveness in information technology application for Oil and Gas industry

On 2^nd Aug 2019, in Hanoi, Viettel and PetroVietnam signed the cooperation agreement on developing information technology in Oil and gas industry.

Attending the signing ceremony, there was Major General Dzung.D.Le, Acting Chairman and General Manager and Viettel’s executives.

On behalf of PVN, there was Mr. Thanh.S.Tran, Chairman of PVN, Mr. Hung.M.L – General Director and other members of Council of Members, leaders of departments and leaders of PVN’s subsidiaries.

The signing ceremony between Viettel and PVN marked the promotion of information technology application in the petroleum sector in Vietnam as well as the utilization and exploitation of the mutual strengths of the two corporations.

At the signing ceremony, leaders of the two groups exchanged issues on cooperation agreements as well as contributed ideas to the development cooperation orientation in the coming time between the two parties.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General – Dzung. D.Le – Acting Chairman and General Director of Viettel committed to provide applications, information technology system as well as support PVN and its subsidiaries in implementing technology application as required. On this occasion, Viettel also wanted to received comments and suggestion from PVN to complete the ongoing systems and applications.

On behalf of PVN’s leaders, Mr. Thanh.S.Tran – Chairman of PVN sent his thankfulness to the support from Viettel. He committed that PVN and its subsidiaries will cooperate with Vietttel to implement the cooperation agreement in the most effective ways, enhancing and completing the application of information technology in oil and gas operation activities. He wished that the cooperation between two groups would boost the development of both sides in the coming time.
