On November 26, Vietnam Report announced VNR500 Ranking - Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam in 2019. Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) ranked 3rd in Vietnam's Top 10 Largest Enterprises of the Year 2019.

This year, Binh Son Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) is in the top 10, at no. 7. Furthermore, in the Top 50 largest enterprises in Vietnam in 2019, the Oil and Gas industry also contributed several members, Vietnam Gas Corporation-JSC (PV GAS) at no.14; Vietnam Oil Corporation-JSC (PVOIL) at no.21; Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture Vietsovpetro at no.25 and PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) at no.33.

2019, 13th consecutive year of the VNR500 Ranking researching and publishing to honor the largest enterprises in Vietnam, achieving remarkable achievements in production and business activities.

The VNR500 rankings in 2019 continue to witness the growth of businesses in the Service and Industry group, occupying more than 98% of the revenue in 2019, the Agriculture sector only occupies a modest proportion of revenue, less than 2%. All categories have revenue growth, the revenue growth rate of the whole business sector is 14.55%. This is an impressive growth rate in the context of economic difficulties.

At the beginning of November 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam Report and Vietnamnet Online Newspaper held a ceremony to announce the Top 500 best profitable enterprises in Vietnam in 2019. PVN is the leading enterprise in this year's rankings. This is the 2nd consecutive year, PVN holds the leading position of Vietnamese enterprises with the best profit in the year. In the Top 10 this year, there is Vietnam Gas Corporation - JSC (PVGAS) ranked 6th beyond PVN. Furthermore, there are also 16 Corporations and Member Companies of the Group in the list 500 best profitable businesses in Vietnam in 2019.

This is the 12th consecutive year, PVN ranks among the top 3 leading enterprises in Vietnam. Moreover, PVN is also the leading enterprise in terms of profits in 2018 and 2019. In 2019, despite many difficulties and challenges, PVN also maintains safe and effective production. By the end of October 2019, PVN had reached the finish line with 4 annual targets. In particular, the oil and gas reserves increased 13.0 million tons, exceeding 4.0% of the yearly plan; Total revenue of the Group reached VND 627.7 trillion, exceeding 2.5% of the yearly plan; Consolidated profit after tax of the Group reached VND 26.5 trillion, exceeding 7.3% of the yearly plan; Budget contribution of the Group was 87.5 trillion VND, equaling 100% of the yearly plan.
