The first step in searching “fire”

From the first officials of the petroleum industry trained in Eastern European countries, on November 27, 1961, the General Department of Geology established Oil Exploration Division 36 (hereinafter referred to as Geology 36). After that, November 27 was taken as the Traditional Day of Vietnam Oil and Gas Industry. This is the first organization of Vietnam Oil and Gas industry, tasked with conducting oil and gas exploration and exploration within the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

From 1981 to 1986, PetroVietnam I exploited over 120 million m3 of gas, significantly contributing to the economic development in general and the industry of Thai Binh province in particular. During this period, in addition to exploration in Tien Hai and Thai Binh areas, the company also seeks in the surrounding areas such as Hung Yen Province, Quynh Phu - Dong Hung (Thai Binh Province) or Giao Thuy (South Province). On September 23, 1970, the first drill meters at field drill 100 were conducted. 1 year and 5 days later, the depth is 3,000m; For another 70 days, it will reach a depth of 3.303m. It was a deep drill record in Vietnam at that time. It is worth mentioning that the drill set of 4LD-150D only drilled 3.200m deep, but due to geological requirements, it was drilled 103m more.
