PTSC join hands to fight against COVID-19

Responding to the call from Party General Secretary, President; implementing the Prime Minister's Instructions about continuing to strengthen the prevention of COVID-19 epidemic and respond to the movement of the entire population to fight against COVID-19 by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF). On April 7, 2020, PTSC has donated VND 500 million for COVID-19 prevention and control through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Although facing many difficulties in business activities due to the COVID-19 epidemic and the sharp decline in oil prices, PTSC has determined that sharing the difficulties with the authorities and people affected by the COVID - 19 at the moment is a really meaningful job of PTSC's employees.

On April 7, 2020, PTSC's General Director and Trade Union launched a call to all PTSC's units and employees to make donations for COVID-19 prevention and control on a volunteer basis.

PTSC donated 500 million VND for COVID-19 prevention and control.

On the first day of launching, the delegation was authorized by the PTSC’s Board of Management, included Mr. Do Huy The - Chief of Office, Mr. Vu Duc Cuong - Vice Chairman of Trade Union and Mr. Nguyen Tan Vinh - Secretary of the Youth Union presented a donation of VND 500 million to the HCMC Fatherland Front Committee.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vu Manh Hai - Standing Member, Head of Ethnic Minority Affairs Committee received the donation of PTSC. Mr. Vu Manh Hai also informed the delegation about the reception of support for the COVID-19 prevention and control; distribution of essential goods and equipment to treatment facilities, field hospitals, quarantine areas.... to ensure the maintenance of activities of the frontline in epidemic prevention and control.

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee-HCMC thanked the support of PTSC.

On this occasion, the HCMC Fatherland Front Committee appreciated and thanked PTSC in supporting the COVID-19 prevention and control, these are great encouragements to the officers, soldiers, doctors, and medical staff… to well implement the assigned tasks, determined to prevent and overcome the COVID-19 epidemic for a peaceful and happy life
