PetroVietnam Culture Week 11th (2018): Motivation for working and dedication

PetroVietnam Culture Week is an annual event organized by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) in order to exchange, meet, socialize and unite oil and gas companies within the group.

The 11th PetroVietnam Culture Week in 2018 is a practical and meaningful activity celebrating the 73rd anniversary of August Revolution, the National Day and 43 years of founding PetroVietnam; toward to the 56th anniversary of Vietnam Petroleum Day and celebrate the 6th Vietnam Petroleum Union Congress. This event also contributes to the building of cultural and physical life for employees.

During PetroVietnam Culture Week 11^th, PetroVietnam Labor Union holds various meaningful and practical activities, especially PetroVietnam Sports Festival. The opening ceremony of PetroVietnam Culture Week and PetroVietnam Sports Festival is held on the morning of 25^th August 2018 at Cau Giay Stadium (Hanoi).

The Sports Festival shall last from 24^th August to 26^th August with eight competitions (football, tugging, badminton, ping pong, tennis, chess, and Chinese chess, swimming).

In order to respond to the 11th PetroVietnam Culture Week in 2018, PetroVietnam’s Labor Union also organized an online contest "Understanding Labor Union activities" in 2018 with the theme of occupational safety and health, organization. In addition, PetroVietnam’s Labor Union will also celebrate the commendation of the typical units in the movement to build cultural life in 2018.

Besides, it has become common practice that PetroVietnam’s Labor Union will also organize to give the support for difficult units. With effective and practical activities, PetroVietnam’s Labor Union has created conditions for each unit to recognize and evaluate the movement of sports, thereby drawing lessons in direction and building movement of physical training and sports, contributing to the improvement of the health and physical strength of the majority of officials and workers.
