Corporate culture is understood as a system of values, traditions, customs, conduct, rituals and symbols based on the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance standard that was formed during the process of building and developing an enterprise, it has the ability to transmit and create a unique identity, having a profound impact on the psychology and behavior of all members in company. Corporate culture which has been strongly developed shall have a positive impact on the development of the business.
PetroVietnam has a long history of development, whereby company culture has formed and developed, and the enthusiasm of the fire seekers is the most special. However, due to many objective and subjective, the cultural value system has not been clear. Therefore, on the basis of the Resolution of the Executive Committee of the Group's Party Committee, November 27th , 2019, the same with the traditional day of Petroleum Industry, PetroVientam issued a " Petro Vietnam Cultural Regenerating Project"..
In order to re-generate Petroleum corporate culture, the first thing to do is identifying the core values. Since then, building cultural identity and image of Petro Vietnam people.

Currently, many units in the Group have built their own cultural values. That is the advantage for the process of regenerating PetroVietnam culture. However, the individual value still needs something in common. Although it is dominated by regional and professional culture in different fields, the common point is the roof of Petro Vietnam. Regardless of the fields, Petroleum people need common values to nurture and preserve. At the present time, PetroVietnam value system aims to be "Aspiration -Intelligence - Professionalism - Love" with the motto "Bravery - Solidarity - Innovation - Action", implementing the mission "Optimize petrochemical energy source, leading the way in international economic integration. To do that, PetroVietnam culture must be in the rightrole, with achieved goalsIn the future, PetroVietnam culture must exist in every activity, in the working life of each employee.
In the early days of 2020, in order to achieve the above goal, General Director of the Group has issued a plan to implement “the Petro Vietnam Cultural Regeneration project” with some solutions in the coming time that need to be work from the parent company to the subsidiaries:
Although the core value system has been consulted for amendments and supplements and be issued in the "Petroleum Culture Handbook", it is necessary to be updated and adjusted more appropriately to the characteristics of the industry, bearing petroleum identity. The determination of common values is a collective product and therefore must be jointly developed and implemented by the collective. It is necessary to capture the thoughts, feelings and broad comments of the generations of employees in the process of revival and development.

Cultural values are identified from the external (tangible) value expressed through the brand identity system, working environment arrangement, cultural institutions, cultural products for life of Employees .... to the declared values including strategies, goals, corporate philosophy and implicit (intangible) values. All of them need to be reviewed, systematic and regulate.
Propaganda, advocacy, following, training should be implemented to raise the sense of initiative and awareness of building a Petro Vietnam corporate cultur.
Each type of employees has different steps and levels of access, with cultural values, therefore, it is necessary to identify and build appropriate forms of cultural propaganda and education for those objects.
Repeating propaganda, conducting surveillance, commendation, reminders, criticism. Internal communication must be attached to building corporate culture.
Organizing training courses to support employees to raise awareness in the implementation of cultural regulations and conventions. Participating in training courses is compulsory, with specific regulations and sanctions.
Building a stable, healthy and solid working environment, enhancing the role of leadership.
Arranging and organizing a scientific, effective and unified working model. Building a stable personnel structure to create a comfortable and cohesive mentality in employees.
Strengthening and interacting between leaders and employees, spreading emotions with employees so that they can feel the care, spirit, desire and trust of the leaders in implementing values.
Improving the quality of the staff advising; allocating resources to implement Petrovietnam Cultur.
Building and training a team of reputable and knowledgeable staff so that they can persuade, guide, remind employees.
It is necessary to arrange reasonable funding sources, ensuring the process of organizing the implementation of activities according to the annual plan.
Regenerating Petrovietnam's culture will be a long-term, durable and challenging process. The culture of Petrovietnam must become a pure groundwater, permeating every thought into actio.
